Rippa Rugby
Posted August 26, 2022
Classes across KKPS took part in a fun and action packed training session of Rippa Rugby with Marcus Howie, from BOP Rugby this week. Each session gave the students the opportunity to learn about the game, how to make a ‘rip’, passing the ball, working together as a team and scoring tries.
Split into teams, the students got to take part in a game and showcase their new skills on the field.
“Room 3 had a fabulous time learning to play Rippa Rugby, we thoroughly enjoyed chasing down the ball and ripping the tags off our opponents. Some were nervous to play but everyone had a fantastic time. Well done Room 3. You are Little Rippers!”
“When are we doing that again? That was the best sport ever!”
Well done to all students for getting involved, working together, having fun and getting out there and giving a new sport a go.
A huge thank you to Mr Howie for giving up his time and working with us.
