Māori Language Week

Week 8 - Term 3

During week 8, KKPS celebrated Māori Language week with a variety of engaging and interactive activities. Students participated in daily Te Reo Māori challenges featuring a variety of basic words and phrases that can be used across the school. 

The big highlight of the week was having our school Kapa Haka group perform with the guidance of Matua Rawiri. This group has worked hard over the last term to develop a strong foundation for Kapa Haka for the future. It was fantastic to be able to invite the wider school community, their parents and whānau to be the first audience.
