Stacy Roche Motivational Talk

Our Year 5 and 6 students were invited to spend the afternoon with past Katikati Primary School student, published author and New Zealand Paralympian, Stacy Roche.

Stacy attended KKPS 33 years, where she experienced nice teachers like we do now. She said that during her time at school she got into everything and had a blast. Stacy explained how she won cross country without giving up!

After leaving school, Stacy has travelled to many countries, including her favourite Indonesia. She also spoke of her determination and positive attitude which helped her get to the Paralympics and showed us how to play Boccia, which we were able to have a go at.

We had a great time with Stacy Roche and thank her for coming to share with us her amazing story and reflect on her time at Katikati Primary School.
